November Challenge : Out of the Closet

Hello and Welcome to November!
It's  Melbourne Cup Day!
On a day where many are reaching into their closets for race day dresses and  fascinators,
we at K+ challenges want you to reach into your closet for some mojo and inspiration!
Inspiration is everywhere and it is time for it to come out of the closet.

Challenge: KRAFT + something that inspires you from your closet.. don't forget to   SHARE where your inspiration came from.
We welcome all kinds of craft as entries for our challenges, from traditional layouts, cards, digital layouts, art journalling and tags etc. but please remember that it is all about the Kraft!!

Your work MUST be on a KRAFT BACKGROUND (not merely mounted on Kraft) to be eligible.

**Please take the time to read the RULES before submitting your entry**
and upload your entry via the inlinkz section in our side bar.

When uploading your entries please let us know which part of the world you come from, this makes it much easier for the DT when it comes to voting.

As always, the K+ team  have created some FANTASTIC creations to inspire you all.

"My wardrobe predominantly consists of black and denim with some funky skull scarves thrown in which made it super easy for me to create a grungy layout based on this. It even inspired me to scrap a photo of myself wearing my favourite scarf and my everyday 'uniform'."

"Inspired by what I am wearing IN the photo,
both the colours and by the Cap and Gown!!"

Louise is a big fan of black lace and has several items including skirts, dresses and jackets in a variety of lace styles. To emulate that in her layout she has used actual lace as a stencil to create a patterned background

"Inspired by my favourite Shirt (wearing in the photo), I hand dyed calico for my background, then i stamped and hand painted my next fabric pieces with my favourite colours, these colours feature heavily in my wardrobe lol."

"My LO was created based on my FAVEST skirt EVER that I found in a Charity shop in London.
The stripes and the colours have been used as inspiration!"

"Clothing inspiration...I've smeared Colour Blast paste Leather to replicate the colour of my jumper & the addition of all the bling & gold. Also thought it was good to do a layout on myself, considering this inspiration was MY wardrobe"

"Inspired by my polka dot shirt and fave blue jeans. I also managed to add several clothing tags into my design"

"Based on our State's cricket team "Fanwear" this page is meant to mimic the logo.
Inspired by the colour tones and movement."

"Inspired by this white chiffon dress
and gold and pearl necklace"

"my inspiration is the photo used on the layout"

"I used the colours and triangle patterns in these leggings as my main inspiration."

K+ Guest Designers
Each month we invite a KRAFT PLUS member to play along with us and our challenges.
This month we are very excited to welcome  Judy Willey  as our Guest Designer for the
November "Out of the Closet" Challenge.

Judy Willey

"When I looked at my wardrobe it struck me that everything was made using fabric and thread and that a pattern was probably used initially. My layout reflects the "sewing" process with stitched seams, pattern tissue, thread, buttons, pins and little pieces of fabric."
