Kraft Plus Design Team

LOVE how ONE photo can inspire so many different interpretations.
These girls blow my socks off with each challenge.

Inspired by the frames on the wall, the rug on the ground and the boho mandala looking cushions - so I made my own!

I was inspired by the colours

This mood board just made me feel all homey. I tried to capture that in the houses stamped and the mist used.

I have used the wood grain and plate collection as my inspiration for this piece.

Such a pretty inspiration photo! I chose to be inspired by the gorgeous colours in the image as well as the lovely fibres in the cushions and rug as represented by my messy embroidery thread. Oh and because it is December I decided to create a Christmas layout.

I was inspired by the colours, especially the mint wood table. I also raided my stash of fancy brads and added lots of circles, inspired by the plates on the wall

Inspired by the circles and frames on the wall, the colours and eclectic mix of patterns

For the December challenge I took inspiration from the colours and the plates on the wall >>> round embellishments

LOL I was fussy cutting out photos to use and these 2 images kinda fell together and I got the giggles so bad at how hilarious it was - I had to use it!! My 2yr old daughter is me to a tee, so this bobble-head version of the two of us is GOLD !

I was inspired by the colours from the fabrics in the inspo pic and Evie's rainbow sleeves

The blue circle and the bottom circle with the red and blue grabbed me.. so I went with those colors! TFL!

I was inspired by the wood grain table and  the colours on the inspiration board

I loved this colourful, inspirational mood board. The beautiful teal table and the orangy chairs were the inspiration for my page. I used the brown stamping to simulate the worn patches on the table. The splashes of teal ink were created with Tim Holtz Oxide inks.

I was inspired firstly by the colours. My design is inspired by the square and rectangle photos on the wall and the checked blue mat on the floor..

I was inspired by the blue carpet, the circle and mosaic shapes and the lines in the coloured rug.

Inspiring work again girls!

Kraft Plus Guest Designer

This month we are very excited to have
the lovely and very talented

Marilyn Peter

joining us as our  K+ guest designer

for the month of December!
Thank you for joining us Marilyn. x

Here is my layout for this month's challenge!
I have used the whole challenge mood board as a sketch!
The blue wood grain paper for the table. I also got the inspiration form the wall of photos at the back and the circles from the mood board. My title and journaling represents the title and images on the bottom of the board!

How VERY clever Marilyn!

International Guest Designer

We are super delighted to introduce our
International Guest Designer
for the month of December....
Please welcome the lovely and uber talented

Nicole Doiron
(from Canada)

I absolutely love this challenge's trendy image. I was immediately attracted to the busy and colourful patterns of the pillows and the variety of designs on the wall decor.  With that inspiration in mind, I wanted to create a happy and eclectic page using a darling photo of my niece in an outfit and demeanor just as fun and colourful as the challenge image. I found the perfect papers in my stash from Momenta and several badges inspired by the buttons in the board as well as flowers, confetti and brads to create this happy mix, all of course on a base of beautiful kraft paper!

Fabulous Nicole!

My first thought on seeing this photograph was - Wow, what a cozy and comfortable place for a family to hang out. So, instantly the subject of my page was decided. Next inspiration frames - I cut out frames from kraft cardstock to use as the background and a poloroid frame shaker embellishment. The colours too are inspired by the pastel shades of the chairs.
