Who doesn’t love a colour challenge, I know I certainly do! Take inspiration from this month’s mood board and team your Kraft with orange, teal & copper.

As always, the graphics were created by our very talented Amanda Hall.

“United we Stand”- this is my attempt on this month’s moodboard. It is very simple, but I think the message itself is the power here. Thank you for stopping by. We here, really hope that you can play along and would love to see your entries .Take-care, Amy

This colour combo is so cool! My options were a bit limited as I discovered I had no full sheets of kraft left when I went to make this page! This was a bit problematic for a challenge where the kraft is supposed to shine. I ended up using lots of patterened kraft paper around the photo. My title is copper, as is the funky fibre at the top of the page.

I really love these colours together! I have used some colour blast paste and a stencil for the background and some chipboard for an added feature. The rest of the page I have kept fairly simple with some papers, and a last minute change of photo with this one of my daughter playing basketball suiting the layout much better than the other one I had!

Once again Kraft + has pushed me out of my comfort zone. I really don't use these colours that often, but I had the perfect photo for them of my eldest nephew, who just did me a huge favour so currently he's my favourite I added a bit of copper coloured paint on a few cogs. But my favourite bit is the OMG Totally as that is just the thing he would say.

I ran out of Kraft, so I stuck brown paper to some white cardstock with gel medium.

I love the colours in this moodboard, especially with the addition of the copper. I was inspired by the distressed paint on the cabinet and tried to do a bit of distressing in my background, not sure it worked that well, with my gelli plate.

Teal, orange and copper - such a gorgeous combination! Here is my layout featuring my first born son.

I created an art journal page for this month’s gorgeous colour challenge.

For our colour challenge I’ve used a variety of different textured paper - from linen look copper, to some that has been stencilled with texture paste... after punching them out, I’ve added some bits & bobs to create a double page traveller’s notebook spread- remember, as long as your base is Kraft, we accept all projects for our challenges!

Hi all! Here is my layout for the August color challenge.. love these colors together.. TFL!

What a gorgeous colour combo this month.

Guest Designer

Please welcome for this month...

 Madie Ager-Warner

Hello, I Madie and I am thrilled to have been asked to guest design for August. I am looking forward to seeing what you create! A little bit about me - I live in Beckenham which is on the boarder of Kent and South East London it is very leafy and peaceful around here. I live with my partner Richard and he has twins aged 7 girl and a boy and they feature on my layouts a bit more often now and have a keen interest in all things arty and I have little projects that I do with them which is fun. Although not when they are helping themselves to your stash! I have always crafted in one way of another since I was a child my scrapbooks then where mainly from magazines and catalogues my Mum had finished with – She says I was never happier than when I was given a stack of paper, glue and a pair of scissors. I expect that is very much still the case. I enjoyed making cards, mini books and mixed media pieces and most other forms of arts and crafts, I can put my hand to most things. I didn’t really get into scrapbooking until I bought my first Freeview box and found some crafting channels and then saw some scrapbooking showcases on a well-known shopping channel and that was it I was hooked, probably about twenty years ago? I had always crafted on my own and really wanted to find like-minded people to craft with so I joined a local Stampin up group and went to a couple of retreats and have made firm group friends and we regularly crop together. It is amazing to see how the industry has evolved and with the birth of the internet has bought us all so closer with new techniques and products but most of all friendships as well. I usually have a number of projects on the go and my crafting space is in my kitchen, which has its pro’s and con’s but enables me to socialise, makes me keep the area tidy but is very distracting when I am working from home!
